I am a writer exploring grief, love, identity, power and the stories we tell about being human.My work is interested in the places where private lives meet public worlds: the inheritance we carry, the people we lose, the identities we build, and the systems that decide whose stories are heard.I write essays, poetry and literary nonfiction about the emotional landscapes of modern life: from grief and belonging to technology, politics and the changing ways we understand ourselves and one another.I spent more than a decade working across human rights, advocacy and social change, helping campaigns and movements challenge injustice, shift narratives and imagine different futures.That work continues to shape my writing.I am fascinated by the stories that hold us together, the stories that divide us, and the possibility that telling the truth about our lives can be a form of connection.

ABOUT
My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, social change and human experience. I explore the stories we tell, the systems we build, and what it means to be human.I'm a queer immigrant and long-time movement builder living in London. I bring a personal, political, and emotionally honest lens to my work, whether I'm advising organisations, speaking on stage, or writing. These days, you'll usually find me walking with my scruffy little dog, Pickles, cooking for friends, or chasing the next line of a poem.Over the past decade, I have worked with charities, movements and organisations navigating moments of complexity and change: helping people understand the world around them, find their voice, and create meaningful change.My work has included collaborations with organisations such as Rutgers International, DIVA, Amnesty International, the Jo Cox Foundation, the Open University, Bloody Good Period, and Dogs Trust.Writing sits at the heart of everything I do. Across poetry, essays, and creative non-fiction, I explore grief, power, integrity, identity, and the stories we inherit. My work is rooted in the belief that language can help us make sense of ourselves, each other, and the systems we live within.Whether through writing or strategy, my work is rooted in the same question:How do we become more human, and how do we build a world that allows people to be fully seen?
